Support and Training with QuarkEd™

Quark Certified Expert Program

Staying ahead of the competition is not easy. This is where the new Quark Certified Expert Programme can help. Whether you are a teacher or lecturer, looking to become the expert in desktop publishing for your school, college or university, or a student looking at adding to your portfolio of qualifications, this qualification is for you.

It has 2 primary purposes:

Firstly to recognise individuals and companies who have demonstrated technical proficiency in the use and application of Quark XPress.

Secondly, to provide a listing of educational establishments, teachers and students certified as ‘professionals’ in the use of Quark XPress.

To become a Quark XPress Certified Expert, you must pass a stringent online test. Quark, with Against the Clock, have developed the test questions, and all administration for the program is done in house.


How Can I become a QuarkXPress Certified Expert?

To earn the designation of QuarkXPress Certified Expert, you must successfully complete an online test from a computer that is equipped with a high-speed Internet connection. You have up to three hours to complete the exam and will receive your results immediately upon completion. A signed certificate of completion will arrive within 45 days by mail.

You can take an exam that is focused on print media, or print media and Web publishing. Currently, you can be certified in QuarkXPress 6 or QuarkXPress 7. Examinations are randomly generated from a bank of hundreds of questions that span the entire gamut of the powerful toolsets in QuarkXPress, depending on the focus of your exam. Select from the following categories:

• Collaboration
